These are the terms you agree to by using Stuffed. They are written to be read, so they are short and they say what they mean.

The one that matters. Stuffed is a budgeting tool. It is not a bank, it does not hold or move your money, and nothing in it is financial advice. It shows you the numbers you put into it.
The agreement
Stuffed is made by Doros Studios, a sole trader in Australia. When you download or use the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app — and if you've already paid for Plus, ask for a refund and we'll help you get one.
These terms are between you and Doros Studios. Apple is not a party to them, though the App Store has its own terms that also apply to your purchase.
What Stuffed is
Stuffed is a tool for dividing money you already have into envelopes and keeping track of what you spend from them.
It is not a bank and not an authorised deposit-taking institution. It is not a payment service — it never holds, transfers, or has access to your actual money. It is not financial advice, and nothing it displays is a recommendation about what you should do with your money. If you need advice about your finances, speak to someone licensed to give it.
The balances Stuffed shows are a record of what you have told it. They are not a statement of any account.
Your responsibility
You enter the numbers, and the decisions you make from them are yours. Stuffed does not connect to your bank, so it cannot check your figures against anything — if a balance is wrong in the app, it is because it was entered wrong, and you can correct it at any time.
Keep your device backed up. Your budget lives only on your phone, so an iPhone backup is the one thing standing between a broken phone and starting over.
Free and Plus
The envelope method is free, and it stays free. Six envelopes, one goal, every payday, spend logging and basic history cost nothing and always will — that is exactly the flow you complete in onboarding, so nothing is taken away after you learn it.
Stuffed Plus is optional. It removes effort and extends memory: automatic payday stuffing, recurring bills, unlimited envelopes and goals, rewinding a payday, and long-run history.
If a Plus subscription lapses, nothing you built disappears. Envelopes, transactions and goals stay exactly as they are, and you keep using the free tier with them. Features that add data stop; nothing deletes or locks what already exists.
Subscriptions
Plus is A$39.99 a year or A$5.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial on the plan you pick. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency and may differ by region.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
- Your Apple Account is charged when the trial ends, and again at each renewal.
- Cancel any time from the Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge; the current term runs out as paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tell us what went wrong as well — that part we can fix.
If the price of a subscription changes, Apple will ask you to agree before the new price is charged.
Your data
Your budget is yours. It is stored on your device, we never receive it, and you can export it to CSV at any time. Deleting the app deletes the data with it. What Stuffed does and does not store is set out in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app; don't resell it or redistribute it; and don't use automated means to hammer anything we run. Use it as an app, not as a target.
Availability
We don't promise the app will be available or error-free at all times, and features may change as it develops. Because Stuffed is local-first, it keeps working with no network at all — there is no service to go down and take your budget with it.
Liability
Stuffed is supplied as-is. To the extent the law allows, Doros Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, and any liability we do have is limited to the amount you paid for Plus in the twelve months before the claim.
This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL — including that they will be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies the ACL provides, and nothing above takes that away. If you are in the United States, some states likewise do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations do not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are using Stuffed in the United States, this choice of law does not remove any non-waivable protection you have under the law of the place where you live.
