Email [email protected] and you'll get a reply from a person, usually within two business days. Your iOS version and what you were doing when it happened both help a lot.
Lost data, or the app won't open? Don't erase anything yet — recovery is often possible, and erasing is not. Write to [email protected] first.
How Stuffed works
Give every dollar an envelope, spend what's inside, keep the rest.
- Plan — decide what each envelope should hold each cycle.
- Payday — tear open the pay envelope and every envelope refills to plan at once.
- Spend — log what you spend against the envelope it came from.
- Empty means empty — move money between envelopes rather than overspending.

Is Stuffed free?
The envelope method is free forever — six envelopes, one goal, every payday, spend logging and basic history. Stuffed Plus removes effort and extends memory: automatic payday stuffing, recurring bills, unlimited envelopes and goals, rewinding a payday, and years of history — A$5.99 a month or A$39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. The terms set out how subscriptions work.
Does Stuffed connect to my bank?
No. Stuffed is deliberately manual — you type your balances and enter what you spend. That's why there is no account, no login, and nothing to breach. It also means the numbers are only as right as what you enter.
Where is my data?
On your iPhone, and in your own iPhone backup. There's no account and no server. See the privacy policy.
How do I move to a new phone?
Restore your new phone from an iPhone backup — iCloud Backup, or an encrypted backup made through a Mac or PC. Stuffed's data is included in both.
Before you switch, it's worth exporting a CSV from Settings and keeping it somewhere safe. Your budget is stored only on your device, so a backup is the one thing standing between a broken phone and starting over.
How do I cancel Plus?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps every envelope, transaction and goal — you simply return to the free tier, and nothing you built disappears.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tell us what went wrong as well, because that part we can actually fix.
How do I start over?
Settings → Start fresh erases everything Stuffed has stored. It is not reversible, so export a CSV first if there's any chance you'll want the history.
