Doros Studios

Built for one. Shared anyway.

Doros Studios is one person in Australia making iPhone apps I wanted for myself, then looking after them for everyone who uses them.

Prooft

On the App Store

Every receipt and warranty, kept in one place.

Scan a receipt and Prooft files it, works out when the warranty ends, and reminds you before it does.

  • The details fill themselves in from the receipt
  • A reminder before each warranty expires
  • ACCC recall alerts for the things you own
Prooft’s home screen: four warranties expiring soon, seven receipts saved, and a MacBook Pro, iPhone 16 Pro and Apple Watch Ultra 2 with their expiry dates.

Stuffed

On the App Store

Cash envelope budgeting, on your iPhone.

On payday you fill your envelopes. Then you spend from them, and when one is empty, it is empty. Home tells you what is left to spend, and about how much a day until payday.

  • Payday fills every envelope in one go
  • No bank login and no account
  • Your budget stays on your phone
Stuffed’s home screen: $451 left to spend, about $75 a day, with Groceries, Eating Out, Transport and Fun Money envelopes.

δῶρον

dōron, said DOH-ron. Ancient Greek for a gift.

Named after the giving.

A gift in the older sense: made with one person in mind, finished before it changes hands, and still backed by whoever made it. Every app here is held to that.

What I won’t do

The same five promises, for every app.

  • No advertising, ever, in any form
  • No selling your data, and no profile built from it
  • No feature added because it looks good in a screenshot
  • No launch date promised before the work is done
  • No pretending to be a bigger company than I am
