List every debt
In shortWrite them all down in one place. It's the first step, and often the hardest.
General information only. It isn't financial advice and doesn't know your situation.
You can't plan for a debt you haven't counted. Writing them down is often the hardest part, and you've already started.
- Find every card, loan and pay later plan. Check your statements and apps.
- For each one, write what you owe now.
- Add the interest rate. It's on the statement, as a percentage a year.
- Add the minimum payment and the day it's due.
No judgement here. Lots of people owe money. A list is just information, and a plan needs information.
Set every minimum to pay automatically, so none is missed. Missed payments add fees.
In Stuffed, add each one on Goals with Pay off a debt. Type what you owe, the rate and what you pay each payday. Stuffed shows about when it'll be paid off.
