Payday: open your pay
In shortOpen your pay, see where it goes and fill your envelopes in a few taps.
On payday, Home shows Open your pay. Nothing fills on its own, so you always see it happen.
- Tap Open your pay.
- If money was left from last pay, What's left asks what to do with it. Keep it, or move it to Savings, a goal or a debt. Then tap Open your pay.
- Pull the tab to open your pay, or tap Skip to the amounts.
- Check where it goes. Tap any amount to change it.
- Tap Fill my envelopes.
Each envelope is topped back up to its amount. Money still in it stays, so payday adds only the difference. Envelopes that build up get their set amount. Goals and debts get their share.
Example: Groceries on payday
- Still in it
- $50
- Payday adds
- $350
- Its amount
- $400
If Groceries had gone $20 over, payday would add $420 to bring it back to $400.
Paid a different amount this time? Tap My pay was a different amount and it's shared out the same way. Pay that isn't planned stays out of your envelopes, in your bank.
Tapped too fast? The message after payday has Undo.
